The generosity, gentleness and fragile humanity of an eternal 35-year-old boy who lit up Watamu with his green eyes and enthusiasm for life, deserve to be celebrated and shared among those who knew and loved him. On Saturday 30 November, from 10 a.m. at Paparemo in Watamu, a commemoration will be held for the tragic and untimely death of Riccardo Lenzi, who did not survive the combination of a bacterial respiratory infection and a strong viral flu.
There, in the family paradise on Earth where he spent many a day, in what was originally the home of his grandfather Remo who, at 95 years of age, had to be given the painful news of the loss of his beloved grandson, son of his eldest son Roberto and the Lenzi family's only male heir.
For anyone who would like to pay their last respects to Riccardo and huddle affectionately around his father Roberto, his mother Priscilla, his aunt Laura, his sister Domitilla and his partner Silvia with little Alby, the gathering is on Saturday morning. Many will attend, also arriving from Nairobi and Italy, to say goodbye to a kind soul who flew from one paradise to another.
