Rain season, time for Githeri

Here's the recipe of the kikuyu dish

The Githeri (or Mutheri) is a typical dish based on legumes, cereals and favacees, just of the kikuyu tradition, but also of Embu and Meru tribes.
Now the recipe is popular throughout Kenya's central region and has its variations on Lake Victoria and Rift Valley.
Here's the Githeri recipe.

Ingredients for 4 people:

Half cup of red beans
Half cup of black fad
Half cup of peas
Half cup of raspberry (lentils)
Half cup of corn
2 potatoes of medium size
2 onions
2 tomatoes
A tuft of coriander (or parsley)
A garlic head
Two tablespoons of oil
A sprinkle of salt and pepper

Preparation: First cook the beans with half a tablespoon of oil and half a glass of water, after ten minutes add peas and corn and continue for another half an hour. Add the sliced ​​potatoes to thin slices and the other half a tablespoon of oil, continue cooking for another 10 minutes.
