Our Kenya, made us better persons

In Kenya you learn to let yourself go

01-07-2016 di Ilaria Pattaro e Giulia Zorzenoni

There are trips which you cannot come back, are the most important ones, the ones that change you, those after it is no longer the same.
After it's different, you're different.
And you're going to tell you that the trips more often, smiling, his eyes wet with emotion.
After trips as well, you're better.
And you start to think and make a real comparison between what offers a seemingly poor country but rich in values, and you realize that Italy is a country with more conveniences, but less time for relationships and those few are of little value, including the majority of Italian common sense no longer exists and we do a lot of difficulty communicating, Kenya's smile is a must and do not you salute nobody denies, in Italy there are many people from small type, do not know what they want from life and live constantly in the gray, in Kenya despite the many difficulties, people know the true values and know what they want from their lives.
You realize that there try a world of emotions, from a fish to a person and that person shall be filled for a day, but if you teach that person to fish, you can have enough for a lifetime.
Hence reflection considering the average Italian, his mind is like this water, when you shake it becomes difficult to see, but if you allow yourself to calm down the answer seems clear.
If you do what you've always done you'll get what you always got, here in Italy the common thought of dealing with a problem or facing a difficult situation is the expectation, but only fools expect your lucky day, you learn in Kenya that every day is lucky for those who can get busy!
One day, a boy from Malindi told us: a loser always find an excuse, a winner always finds a way!
And emotions are not chosen, they try and give themselves!
We just realized that a trip to Kenya is a gateway through which you exit from reality known and you enter another unexplored reality which resembles the dream.
Seeing another really understand the meaning of enjoying life, you reflect on the miracle of life, you meditate, you free yourself from stress and learn to take care of others. You're surrounded by beautiful things and thank life for the gifts he has given you. Learn to plan your day, doing your work quietly, one thing at a time, choose one of your many projects and fail to complete.
Thus beginning to see the world with new eyes, you get rid of the anger and learn to say no and to enjoy every single moment.
In Kenya you learn to let go and to stay in the "Here and Now", they teach their philosophy of life, or feel sensations from your body in a loving and non-judgmental.
Thus beginning to paint emotions and your life is like when you were learning to read: Once you know that, do not forget it. When you come back in Italy understand that it is time to curb your stroke and take time out, the smile of those children do not forget it and you realize that it is the first among the gestures of the body with which meetings who's in front of and why we should never forget to smile. The several days spent in close contact with the locals made us reflect on the fact that everyone you meet on your path are fighting a few battles, so you do not always think in a selfish way to be we the only ones with insurmountable difficulties, we must be careful with the words you use because they can even cut your tongue, if you want your dreams come true, you do not sleep. And you understand that happiness in your life depends on the quality of your thoughts, one thing you can always give your word, one thing you can not recycle is the time
lost, so sfruttalo at best, the ideas do not work unless you do not believe in them.
The simplicity and love of life breathed take you to chase happiness and realize that it is never too late to be what you wanted, life is too short to wake up with regrets, therefore, learn to love the people who treat you good and forget the ones that do not. And in the face of decisions to make you realize that you can not wait, if you do not get up, you can not hope that something will change. If you do not start, nothing will be accomplished.
If you do not knock, no door will open. If you do not make your way, no map will get you nowhere.
Miracles happen only when you make the first step towards your achievement ... towards your dream.
No one will get you a gift, no one will make you happy pack, if not you, just for yourself.
So get up ... Begin the journey, the journey of your happiness ... Navigate the sea of your emotions. Live ... Do not put anything ... Do not wait for anyone. Wellness means to feel good, involves taking a space and time for yourself, stop and
to listen ... It's a way to give yourself a pat, which can change the taste of the day.
